Join our team as a Senior Technical Program Manager and help drive this change across our complex E-Commerce programs as well as other areas of critical importance across our team.

• The position is responsible for managing compliance-focused audit programs that span across WalmartLabs. However, the role is not limited to just audit programs and can include other highly technical areas.
• Provide the required hands-on deep technical program management & associated engineering leadership, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding technical program outcomes.
• Work closely with lead software architects/engineers, infrastructure teams, security teams, product managers and other engineering teams to drive a wide range of technology initiatives through the agile software product development lifecycle.
• Responsible for driving a wide range of development & infrastructure work-streams as part of any given technical initiative. Able to work closely with Technical Architects/Technical leaders and understand deep technical topics
• Manage program/project schedules and associated dependencies, identify possible issues/risks/actions and clearly communicate them to key stakeholders. Drive issues to logical closure.
• Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead concurrent technical programs for WalmartLabs and ensuring that success metrics are defined and are met.
• Strong ability to influence and make process improvements on an on-going basis.
• Comfortable hosting senior level leaders (SVP/VP) and providing status/program updates.

Minimum Qualifications


• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering from Top CS School or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong diplomacy & communication (written/oral) skills.
• Hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, C/C++, Scala required.
• Strong general knowledge of data modeling, database technologies, NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Web-Scale/eCommerce technical domains and deeply understand associated system architecture/software architecture.
• Experience with Security, Audit level initiatives.
• 5 years of industry experience with technical subjects and emerging technologies in cloud computing or related technical fields, and their relevance to the marketplace.
• Experience with Data Center Strategy & Capacity planning, HW platforms, and performance engineering in Web scale/eCommerce domains.
• Experience working with senior engineering leaders in cloud computing or related technical fields.
• Experience as a software engineer; experience as an engineering manager from top Internet/eCommerce companies.
• Certifications including CISSP, CISA or CRISC or equivalent work experience will be highly desirable.
• Experience with SOX Information Technology General Controls will be highly desirable.

Additional Preferred Qualifications


• Previous experience in a technology compliance manager/program manager will highly desirable.
• Proven successful technical program management outcomes from idea to launching programs in multiple contexts throughout your career. Track record in successful leading large scape GA releases.
• Ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given audience.
• Ability to mix technical acumen with simple, everyday language to deliver a story that is memorable and useful.
• Comfortable talking about technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people.
• Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences.
