eCommerce is fueling the growth of Walmart and our goal is to create a premiere Product Management organization who will lead this company into the future. To that end, the Customer Experience team at Walmart Labs is looking for a Principal Product Manager to partner with Retail’s senior management to create vertical specialist experiences for Entertainment and Enthusiast categories.

This role will establish roadmaps for some of the fastest growing parts of the business, and so will enjoy the full support of senior leadership. A successful candidate requires deep knowledge of the product management process, has previous experience crafting end-to-end experiences for the customer journey, and clearly demonstrates a strong passion for helping both Walmart and the customer succeed.

Position Description
The ideal candidate is customer-centric, sensitive to design, fluent in analytics and the business model, actively communicates both up and down the org, and is results-oriented with a strong bias for action. This individual is an evangelist for the needs of both the customer and the business, and has a deep understanding of the customers’ job to be done. She/he is an excellent communicator and builds strong cross-functional relationships, internally and externally. This individual will be skilled in working across departments to collaborate with Business Managers, User Experience, Application Architects, Engineering, Program Managers, QA, and Operations teams.

The Principal Product Manager role will include:

Establish a Product roadmap for Walmart’s Entertainment and Enthusiast categories, and lead a team to execute against the roadmap.
Partnering with the retail GMs to develop and champion a product strategy to support annual goals.
Being a driving force with UX and Engineering for scalable, well-crafted, end-to-end customer experiences.
Presenting and clearly articulating product strategy to company leadership.
Conducting competitive research to understand market dynamics and opportunities.
Partnering with Engineering and Analytics to execute with both confidence and speed.
Define, track and iterate on key product goals.

Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field and 6 years of experience in product management, business consulting, or related field OR 10 years of experience in product management, business consulting, or related field.

Additional Preferred Qualifications


Experience developing product and business strategy with business, marketing and creative stakeholders
Experience creating wireframes and mockups using Sketch, Balsamiq etc.
Experience developing platforms and using tools to understand and parse API responses
Experience with people management
