Position Description


As a Staff DevOps Engineer you must be able to support all the mission critical systems/services to ensure high Availability and Reliability at Scale. Work closely with developers in supporting new applications features and service launches. Design, build and use the various tools that would help in managing, scaling and monitoring the cutting edge technology. You must be able to triage complex technical issues in collaboration with various teams spanning engineering and technical operations teams.

Minimum Qualifications


• Experience in large scale Web applications.
• Linux systems experience
• Minimum of 5 yrs DevOps experience
• Solid programming skills (Java & Python are strong +'s)
• Database experience (any NoSQL a +)
• Understanding of Networking (load balancers, packet tracers, etc)
• Knowledge of standard tools like Nagios, Sensu, Jenkins etc.

Additional Preferred Qualifications


• Any Elastic Search, Cassandra and/or MySQL is a +
• Kafka, Flink, Akka
• Ansible is a + (Puppet/Chef/Salt are fine though)
• Docker, Jenkins, Sensu exp are all preferred but not required
