Minimum Qualifications


· 4+ years demonstrable experience in an online marketing/merchandising field
· 4+ years demonstrable experience in project management in an agile environment

Position Summary


The SamsClub.com Site Merchandising team is looking for a highly-motivated, results-oriented Site Merchandising Manager to help manage seasonal campaigns and major promotional events. The ideal candidate will provide strategic vision and develop short and long-term initiatives to deliver explosive, sustainable growth.  This is a high impact role with expectations to deliver immediate results. The candidate will achieve success by being a thoughtful self-starter, with strong business acumen, acute analytical skills, and the demonstrated ability to use creative thinking and innovation to solve complex problems.

· Develop and manage the short and long-term merchandising strategies for various digital campaigns and major holiday event events.
· Ensure optimal site execution across all platforms: desktop, mobile, and app
· Develop tactical plans and partner with the site operations team to execute on best-in-class item classification, category linking strategies, and taxonomy optimization
· Optimize the online shopping experience to increase conversion through site presentation and product merchandising by analyzing sales, web metrics, trends and industry best practices, and aligning to our members’ needs
· Analyze data quantitatively and use member research, data and metrics to back up assumptions, identify opportunities, and assess the efficacy of programs
· Work with multiple cross-functional teams which include, but not limited to: the analytics team to understand member behavior, creative team to drive visual strategy, user experience and engineering teams to ensure best-in-class shopping experiences, and various marketing teams to drive site traffic through external marketing efforts
· Identify and establish key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarks, and forecasts
· Influence cross-functional business leaders in establishing business objectives and goals
· Model compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
