About the Job
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in eCommerce and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans. Improves the security posture of Walmart-owned sites. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Monitors and administers network security. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions. Provides on-call security and operational support for the production web environment and associated locations. Supports governance and compliance audits relative to payment card industry (PCI) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of hands on experience designing, administering and troubleshooting modern firewalls from Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA, and/or Fortigates
• 1-2 year of firewall administration
• Strong networking knowledge in the security space
• Basic Unix administration
Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of load balancers
• High availability design
• Data center networking concepts

ABOUT SECURITY ENGINEERS
The Security Engineer will focus on working with a Lead Engineer on expanding our visibility into the network activity data. This will involve evaluating solutions available in the market, analyzing the gaps in data gathering, and providing a solution to address these gaps. The position will also be involved in helping automate some tasks tied to Skybox, which we use to automate firewall rules management life-cycle.
